Mr Al-Hassan Ligbi is an accomplished businessman with advanced degrees in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Havana, Cuba, and Engineering Business Management from the University of Warwick, UK. With over three decades of expertise, he has made significant contributions to infrastructure development, transport systems management, and engineering operations in Ghana. He served in the public sector for over 20 years, holding key leadership roles, including Managing Director of Metro Mass Transit Ltd., and various strategic positions at the Ministry of Health and Ghana Health Service. In these roles, he led strategic operations, fleet optimization, and critical modernization initiatives. Additionally, he provided governance and oversight as Board Chairman of the National Sports Council and as a Board Member of Bulk Oil Storage and Transportation (BOST), contributing to impactful decisions at the national level. As a businessman, Mr Ligbi has extensive experience in logistics management, specializing in freight forwarding, warehousing, and haulage.
